I got this in Provence in the South of France last spring, its great for grating cloves of garlic when cooking. It really releases the garlics oil and aroma.
Guess what you can get them on amazon well of course I hear you say!, or plan a trip to France its more fun much love Rebecca, oh i just brought some lavender to plant yesterday one French and One English !
what a great tool - but it looks like your hand is completey inverted... I have something similar that I picked up at a yard sale and I always thought it was for nutmeg....good to know
Love that grater. Functional and pretty too. The one I have currently doesn't do such a great job at grating garlic. I hope to make it to Provence one day and I'll have to remember to look one up. :)
I have been converted to these for a long time, so much so that I sell them in the UK!!Fantastic if used with a silicone peeler and a tiny brush that gets the garlic off the dish really easily!! Try putting olive oil, balsamic or flavoured oils in the centre with the grated garlic and you have a super dip with croutons or crudites
That looks so cute-love the black olives on it!!
ReplyDeleteNext time you go to Provence please get me one too ;)
That's totally cool. I love the simple design of it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks as decorative as it is useful. It is the type of tool that you can keep out and not stuff it away in a drawer.
