Motivational Inteviewing
HI all I just wanted to share with you an article I wrote on Motivational Interviewing for Nurses, I am trained in this counseling technique and will be using it in an upcoming research study with overweight kids and their parents.
Basically as a counsellor you listen more and let the person lead the way and make their own solutions, I love it.
I am really proud of this article as it went through a rigid review process and is on a professional site
Love Rebecca

I emailed the link to myself at work as I have to run, but I wanted to say that Motivational Interviewing is such a rewarding way to reach people. After my class in grad school devoted to MI, I am so grateful to have learned such a valuable approach to patient education. Congrats, I'm sure the article is wonderful!
