Potato and Pea Curry
This is a super easy curry that pairs well with homemade chapatti, clip to follow :-) my little helper even rolled out a mini one that hubby kindly ate at 2 1/2 years old, proud of her. Its like play dough for little ones. This is a fun curry and the green chili gives it a little kick.
- about 8 potatoes cubed - par boil these for about 7 minutes
- salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric
- about 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 a red onion thinly sliced
- 2- green chilis thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic sliced
Method:
- par boil potatoes
- saute onion and garlic in canola oil for 5 minutes
- add turmeric and chilis
- then add the potato and peas
- simmer for 10 minutes
- enjoy
Looks like a wonderful pot of comfort food to me!
