Apple Chips
Here's a wonderfully simple recipe got the inspiration from Nelly :-) Cooking with Books. Lovely for seasonal apples and would make a great snack food to nibble on at holiday parties :-) A much healthier chip a great source of vitamin C and fiber.
Ingredients:
- 2 large thinly sliced apples, I used a mandoline
- a large baking sheet to lay them on, you could slice and bake more apples if you have a bigger oven and more baking sheets :-)
Method:
- slice apples
- bake at 225F for 30 minutes each side until crisp
- sprinkle with cinnamon for a festive flavor :-)
Heres our christmas tree :-)
and a picture of my darling boy to make you smile :-)
Have a wonderful weekend everyone :-)

ReplyDeleteThose apple chips look wonderful. I buy dried apple slices for making apple yeast bread. I guess I could make them myself by slicing them a little thicker. Your baby boy is adorable :)
